I think it has a lot of great potential, however...it can also be like setting a young child loose in the candy store - too much available all at once and wanting to try everything.

I was a rabid Picnik user in Flickr and when Flickr replaced Picnik with Aviary, I immediately loathed Aviary the second I tried it. I couldn't even straighten a photo using Aviary, let alone resize it. Picmonkey appears to be a Picnik clone with even more fun things to try. I like it for its power and relative simplicity, plus it's free.
ReplyDeleteHi Tree - I used Picnik as well. I never did try Aviary - but sounds like I would have probably struggled with it as well. I was happy with the ease of Picmonkey. And sooo glad it's free! :-)
