Don't Forget the Kitties

My son and his girlfriend have two cats, Lucy and Leo.   I sure can't forget about them this Christmas.

Since they love to play, I decided that they might like some little wool play toys.

Do you think they'll keep them occupied until New Year's?

Sleep Tight

My "baby" Charlotte is often a big help to me. She loves me every day, smiles when I need it, snuggles when I'm sick or cold, and helps me eat leftovers.

Now she's found a way to help me with my wool too.  That's a good girl! :-)

As said by Ernest Hemingway, "I love to sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I'm awake, you know."

Neighbors Are More Than Just People

Remember when I showed you the photos of my cute little nose-poking-through-the-fence-dog-neighbor?

Well, my same people-neighbor also has two cats. He seems to have just as much trouble keeping them inside as he does the dogs.

Here's my sweet little morning visitor. She seems to think that she should come on in and spend the day. If I didn't think I'd get caught - I'd letter her move in. She's quite the little cuddle-bunny....err...cat. :-)

My lovely friend.

Undeniable Blessings

Just got back from a great weekend with family. We visited my son and niece at college. What fun – and to top it off, it was gorgeous weather! 60’s and sunny. My that’s nice - especially during the first weekend of November in Wisconsin.

I headed out by myself, later Friday night for the five hour drive. The road was pretty much mine – and I kept it at an even 70 on the interstate while I privately bopped to the music on the radio. :-)

My son and his girlfriend have two young cats. Meet Leo. She has six digits on her front paws and is so friendly and loving.

Also meet Lucy. She is so cute and sweet – and has such small, dainty features.

They love being sisters and it’s so fun to watch them play (or some might call it "wrestle") together.

A blessing of a weekend with a blessing of a family. I’m a lucky gal.
