I made a slew of recycled leather flower pins for my recent sale. It's kind of fun how each one is similar - but also so different. Take a peek...
There. That's enough. I won't make you look at any more. :-)

Sale Prep
I've been getting ready for an upcoming sale. I have to be honest, though - and my heart just hasn't been in it. I've really been struggling for my creative spirit to grab hold as of late - as it has taken a temporary LOA. But I am hoping it will kick back in soon and I will be back to my normal self.
In the meantime, I have created this sign to post at sales. I've always planned on getting a simple sign prepared and finally completed the task. Whatcha think?

Added some felted flowers and leaves...
Threw in some cut-out letters [yes...I printed and cut each letter by hand] and covered them with several coats of Dimension Magic...
And came up with a finished sign.

What's Up?
Here's the question of the day. Well....the WOOL question of the day...
What useful (or not so useful) little item is made of wool AND wood?
Ha! Did you really think I'd tell you this easily? :-)
Looks like you'll have to stayed tuned and find out!

Beaded Wool Alliums
I'm working to prepare for my upcoming May sales. Darn - I have to be very honest and say that I haven't been working anywhere near hard enough and am now starting to feel the dreaded panic. Guess that's just something that me and my blood pressure have to work out on our own.
But one thing that I've been doing is creating more beaded wool bobbles (see my last post about them here) and I'm now transforming them into punky and funky beaded alliums. I tell ya - they are quite fun and addictive to make - not to mention a great way to use up scrap strips of felted wool!

Soon to be Hatched
Spring is the time of year that chicks and peeps get hatched. Well, at least I know they are in process here in my merry workshop!
I've begun work on some new chicken paperweights/pincushions and peeps. Here's a sneak peek at what's been going on.
Many eager chicks-and-peeps waiting to be assembled.
Anxious chick-and-peep-beaks dreaming of being able to speak soon.

Craftstravaganza!
I'm thrilled to announce that I've been accepted into Craftstravaganza 2012!
It's an annual urban craft fair held in St. Paul, Minnesota and this year will be held on May 12. There aren't any 2012 details posted yet on their web page, but as soon as I see more information come available, I'll let you know.
I am very anxious...as well as a little nervous - because I believe it will be the largest sale I've participated in. All I know right now is that I better get busy, busy, busy!

Ho Ho Ho at Cafe Wren
I had a great day today at an art sale at Cafe Wren in Luck, Wisconsin! (I'm the nut in the middle.)
The sale has a room full of awesome items - and you still have tomorrow and Sunday to check it out. I marked a few items off my Christmas list by the time I left today! Score!

The Red Bowl - Version Wool Mittens
Although the weather has been quite pleasant the last few days (and I'm loving it!), the time will come way too soon that we'll need some cozy wool mittens to keep our hands nice and warm.
Okay - sure - these are so teeny that they will only fit a small cat's paw, but they are wool...and they are mittens. But instead of kitten mittens, I think they'd actually work better as a sweet little tie to a fun Christmas package.

Flowers are a-Blooming
What? I don't think that November is typically the big blooming season in Wisconsin - but, believe me, flowers are a-blooming at my house!
I've been making wool flowers magnets and they are multiplying (and rather addicting to make!)! Here's just a few...
